My son is going to be a senior this upcoming year and this past summer, he wanted to go to ASM Materials, Metallurgy, and Forensics Engineering Institute in Rapid City, SD. We reluctantly sent him, but were amazed at all the wonderful things he learned and did while he was there. He had hands-on learning in an educational environment about materials, metals, building and engineering. It was as if he has gone away for a semester of college. Well visit The Blanton, take a metal-smithing class at Creative Side Jewelry Academy, see interesting public art works, watch a glass-blowing demonstration and so much more. Well stretch our imaginations while viewing interesting public artworks, art galleries and creating our own art.Traveling Art Camp Austin Well head out into the world for the early part of the day and be back to The Art Garage to create in the studio during the afternoons. Summer Cooking Camp 2015 - Summer Cooking Camp 2015
This cooking camp is a fun and exciting way to spend summer. There will be two sessions: Session 1- June 22nd - July 3rd and Session 2 - July 6th - July 17th. Cooking Camp will be held at The Silver Spring International Middle School on Wayne Avenue from Monday through Friday, 9.30am - 1.30 pm. All students from grades 4-9 are welcome to register and enjoy this memorable experience. In these 2 week sessions, students will get started with the basics of cooking and gradually increase to more advanced skills.
