Fashion for the Runway - Coyote Central
New or returning students with some basic sewing skills will design and fabricate a runway outfit! Things worn on the runway are more wild, experimental and fabulous. Youll learn about ten famous designers and use their ideas to spark your own. Be ready to use unusual materials, machine sew, hand sew & a do lots of sketching. Camp Deep Space - San Juan Del Rio Catholic School
Camp Deep Space takes campers to the edge of the universe on a mission to make a distant planet habitable for humans using LEGO Mindstorms NXT kits. Our videos and animations help campers build and learn programming, tackle building challenges, and hone their robotic and project planning skills. Science factoids are interspersed throughout, accompanying engineering design activities tied into space exploration. Camp Deep Spaces curriculum has been developed by Carnegie Mellon Universitys Robot Academy. Campers will work in teams to complete their missions. As an extra bonus, campers construct and launch two of their very own Estes Rockets. Campers will take their rockets home with them. Parents are invited to join us on Fridays Family Day to view their childs rocket launch. We are on our way to the final frontier! Our camps are 9am-4pm with pre and post camp options available as well! Please pack a peanut-free snack, bag lunch and refreshment for your child. Space Kids Camp Ages 4-5 - Wichita Collegiate School
Instructor: Mould & Gray Cathy Gray and Belinda Mould are excited to invite students going into Kindergarten to join them for "Space Kids Camp." We will provide an introduction with hands-on activities exploring the solar system, stars, and traveling into space. We will engage all of the senses through literature, cooking, experiments, and dramatic play. Blast off into a universe of fun and learning! Questions? Spring Break - Camp Grasshopper, ages 3-4 - Marinwood Community Center
Get a taste of summer at our Spring Break Camp! Our camp counselors are dedicated to providing a safe and fun environment for children to interact, meet new friends and participate in exciting camp activities. Campers will spend their day at the park, playing dodgeball, creating art masterpieces and going down the waterslide at our pool. Join us for an exciting week of camp games, sports, swimming and more! Please bring a sack lunch, snacks, water, swim suit, towel and sunblock to camp daily. Come join the fun! Only need a day or two of camp? We take drop-ins! Drop-ins are dependent on space availability and are $45 per day. There are no sibling discounts for drop-ins. Please register for drop-in days through the Community Center office. Drop-ins for Before Care is $8 per day and After Care is $15 per day. Adventure Camp Week 1 - Butler Campus
Campers will explore mountain biking, climbing, paddle boarding, sailing, and backpacking. Daily experiences will introduce new and exciting adventures on our 140-acre campus and will be enhanced by customized trips focused on specific skills. This camp will enable young teens to challenge themselves individually and in group situations. Time will be spent on the 14 high and low elements offered on Laurels Project Adventure Ropes Course to help foster creative problem solving, promote leadership and build self-confidence through improved communication skills. Campers will need to come prepared with an adventurous spirit and a desire to have lots of fun! (Campers should have their own bike and be proficient at cycling and swimming). 216-455-0154
