Camp Sneak Preview - Childrens Theatre (CHT)
The Bay Areas finest musical theatre professionals teach kids how to sing, act and dance! This adventurous program explores theatre through collective creation, story development and improvisation. Students also learn about various aspects of technical theatre, such as set construction, painting, costumes and make-up. Guided by their teachers, students share their creativity with parents and friends on the final day of camp. Performance on final day at 3:00 pm. Participants need to bring a bag lunch daily. Football Week 3 - Knott Hall
This camp features fundamental skills to be applied on the offensive and defensive sides of the ball. Campers receive expert, individual instruction through the camp with an emphasis on technique, including skills such as blocking, tackling, positions, stance and start, passing technique, receiving, and more. Campers will receive daily lunch in Loyolas dining hall, as well as time each day for swimming in Loyolas pool. Come for all 5 days or drop in for the day! Our drop in workshops are aimed at beginner to intermediate level students. Because our classes are small groups, instructors can gauge each students skill level and assign daily projects accordingly. Students will learn about the basics of compositing and visual effects. Teen Chef Cook OFF! – Ages 12-15 - Goleta Presbyterian Church
Put on your Chefs apron and work in small teams to create salads, entrées, vegetable dishes, and desserts (using healthy and fresh ingredients) of your choosing. Teams will research recipes, go shopping for groceries, learn how to select foods in a grocery store, determine how much their food product costs, and prepare and cook their recipes. To add to the fun, foods produced from each team will be rated with a check-list for taste, healthy ingredients, cost and presentation. Everyone gets to vote!
