Explore all that science has to offer! This camp is full STEAM ahead -Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math- designed to inspire future innovators! Terrific Scientific aims to SPARK the excitement of young people, for SCIENCE, in a setting that allows them to explore, question, and experiment with fascinating facts, projects and activities. All lessons are designed to help with the development of scientific process skills such as observing, classifying, comparing, measuring, critical thinking, predicting, hypothesizing, sequencing and experimentation. Materials: A separate fee of $20 is payable to the instructor on the first day of camp. Participants should bring a brown bag lunch, beverage and snack each day. Attire: Wear old/play clothes. Charly Cardboard Mini Camp - Gallatin, TN
School is out and Charly Cardboard is coming! This class will give the vision and skills to get students to begin the creative process of using something as simple as leftover cardboard into something artistic and maybe even practical. In two days - 4 hours per day - students will get hands on instruction and come out with a completed project like the one below. Lot's of fun. Visual artist and film maker David Wilson in collaboration with Actors Point Theatre Company will conduct this amazing class. Limited space available. Children will overcome a series of challenges using basic materials, simple machines, tips from famous inventors and most importantly - their mind! This camp is designed for kids ages 3-5 to learn the basics of soccer and have a blast doing it! During the three days we will combine soccer with character building sessions where your child will learn the importance of character qualities such as sharing, kindness and patience.
