Throwing on the Wheel & Terrific Textures Take your clay projects to the next level! Give your thrown work and clay sculptures a little extra pizzazz with a variety of interesting and exciting textures. This week we will: * Make our own unique animals using texture mats and hard slab construction techniques * Embellish a tile with a variety of stamps and textures to create an interesting landscape * Create a playful sculpture that highlights or exaggerates a texture of your choice. Badgerdog Book Crush - O. Henry Museum
A summer program offered in partnership with the O. Henry Museum... We invite young readers to explore a fantastic novel, take it apart, play around in its pages, admire its sentences and characters and questions, and create new work based on the novel. This workshop is led by a Badgerdog teaching artist (professional writer), and Book Crushers will showcase their work for parents on the final day. In previous years we crushed on Wonder by R.J. Palacio and The Turtle of Oman by Naomi Shihab Nye. Well announce this years title as soon as possible. 512-542-0076
Video Game Design: Invader Defense - Shark Attack! - Bolles Ponte Vedra Beach Campus
Watch out! Its shark attack! In Invader Defense: Shark Attack, we will create our own version of an invader defense game that will allow us to protect a coral reef from hungry sharks. We will use the Engineering Design Process to create a storyboard and outline the rules of play for our game. The we will use Clickteam Fusion 2.5 (R) to bring our storyboard to life with programming. At the end of class, everyone takes home a woring Windows-compatible game. 904-256-5071

This week of riding is for intermediate skilled riders who have participated in our spring program, the beginner/intermediate camp, or with permission. Campers will strengthen their riding skills as we explore some of the great trails Santa Fe area has to offer. The Hope Soccer Day Camp is designed for players of various ages and ability levels. Campers ages 6 to 14 choose the Hope Soccer Day camp for the fun and educational experience that focuses on developing fundamental skills, teamwork and developing a love for the game of soccer. Players attending the camp are divided into groups by age and ability level. This structure allows the coaching staff to create a learning environment that challenges each child with appropriate instruction and engaging game environments. Throughout the week the campers build strong relationships with their coaches and teammates. This focus on creating a personal connection with each player is central to the Hope Soccer Camp experience and one of the elements that sets the Hope Soccer Camp apart from other sports camps. 6168059303.0
