Pre-Teen Improv Camp: Session 2 - Norfolk, VA
This camp is open to children ages 7 to 12. Students will explore the key elements of both long and short form improvisation. The children will play numerous improv games which will serve to develop and enhance their public-speaking, social, and team-building skills. This camp will be conducted in a non-judgmental environment where the students will build confidence, make friends, and most importantly… have fun. Snacks will be provided on a daily basis and there will be a pizza-party for lunch on Friday. The camp concludes on Saturday with all students performing in a graduation show on the stage of the Push Comedy Theater. Each student will receive a Push Comedy Theater T-shirt and be eligible to perform in the 4th Annual Norfolk Comedy Festival in late September 2015.

Campers ages 6 to 14 choose the Hope Soccer Day camp for the fun and educational experience that focuses on developing fundamental skills, teamwork and developing a love for the game of soccer. Players attending the camp are divided into groups by age and ability level. CAMP DETAILS Fractured Fairy Tales Week In our Fractured Fairytale world, students will learn how to adapt traditional fairytales using unexpected characterization, modified points of view and bizarre plot development. Working as an ensemble well then dramatize our new fractured fairy tale using music and movement. Working alongside one of our professional teaching artists students will also play fun theater games and learn how to develop characters for the stage. This camp aims to cultivate creativity and give participants experience of creating their very own theater piece.
