Band Clarinets- Wednesdays - Summit School
Summit Afternoon Academy Summit Band Spring 2016 3rd, 4th and 5th Graders, 3:00-4:00PM, $360 Fees include snack Band meets in the Lower School Music Room in the Arts & Technology Building Clarinets- Wednesdays (Trumpet players from Fall Band may join this class if unable to meet on Tuesdays) January 6, 13, 20, February 3, 10, 17, 24, March 2, 9, 16, 23, April 6, 13, 20, 27, May 4 February 10, 8:15-9:15 All Band Practice March 9, 8:15-9:15 All Band Practice April 27, 8:15-9:15 All Band Practice Band instruction includes note spelling, rhythm training, instrumental skills, harmonizing, and aural development. Musical selections will be taken from the Essential Elements Book and sheet music. There will be a daily home practice requirement of approximately 15-25 minutes depending on age. This daily practice allows for optimal learning and progress. Dragonfire Designs:Classic Arts Camp @ SMCC - San Marcos Community Center
Young artists will dive a little deeper into drawing, painting & pastels. This camp will offer the time and training to develop and refine skills, as well as the chance to discover personal artistic styles of self expression. 20% sibling discount. Join until Wednesday. (If the request is made after the Thursday prior to the start of the camp week but before the first day, a full refund, less a $20 cancellation fee, will be granted). A prorated refund of fees, less a $10 cancellation fee, will be granted if the request is made before the second camp day. Students who transfer from one camp to another will be charged a $10 transfer fee. Summer Camp - Week #2 Outdoor Explorers Adventure is out there! At least thats what my friend Russell told me. This week will be full of fun outdoor activities! Learn how to use a compass to find treasure, build the perfect campfire, and make some awesome crafts from items found in the great outdoors. We will head to the St. Louis Zoo for our field trip, and supply food for our fantastic food Friday! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you are paying a deposit of $20 to reserve your week, the remainder of the payment will automatically set to be deducted from your credit card the Monday of the week before the camp begins. [] KidSport Afternoon: Tennis & Golf Each week features a different sport teaching basic fundamentals skills, rules, team building and sportsmanship and open swimming time. Director: Kerry Winkelseth, UM School of Kinesiology. Campers bring snacks and water. Afternoons, Monday-Friday. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Curbside Drop-off. Staff will pick-up your camper from your car at 1:00 PM and bring your camper to your car at 4:00 PM. KidSport offers children the opportunity to learn and refine non-competitive sport-specific, team building and social skills. The activities are age appropriate and developed by experts in childrens physical education. KidSport is staffed by certified teachers as well as physical education and education majors focused on providing a first-rate experience for your kids!
