Does your child like to explore the natural world, tinker and build, and use art and technology to communicate and illustrate ideas? WonderLab may be the perfect summer opportunity! WonderLab is a two-week program -- for rising fourth grade students -- in partnership with Laurel Dell School in San Rafael, offering hands-on, inquiry-based projects and workshops in design thinking, science and engineering. Pottery Camp w/Painting Studio, Ages 8-12 - The Yard School of Art At Montclair Art Museum
SummerART Camp Full Day Pottery Program 9:30am to 5pm Pottery Camp with Painting Studio Session III: July 25 to August 5 Pottery Camp This camp is for children who are interested specifically in working with clay to create pottery, sculpture, and more. Campers are grouped in age-specific classes (6 to 8, and 9 to 12). Campers will have the opportunity to use the Museums diverse collection of Native American pottery as inspiration. Much of the work created in Pottery Camp will be kiln fired, some will be functional, some will be decorative, and all of it will be treasured for years to come. Much of this artwork will be displayed at the receptions in Leir Hall at the end of each session. Landscapes, portraits, still life objects, and paintings from MAMs permanent collection will inspire students. Campers will bring home unique paintings full of personal expression that are sure be treasured. Youth Summer Camp - Week 6 - Saul House
Hutto Parks and Recreation offers Park Kids Summer Camp for children ages 5-12 years old. Throughout the week, campers will participate in fun games and activities, as well as visit the movies and take a field trip. Campers will need to bring their own sack lunch. Snacks will be provided throughout the day. Camp will be held at the Saul House property, located on 1660 South, past Ray Elementary. AGE GROUP Youth LOCATION Saul House at Saul House

Scibot (Humanoid Robotics) Ages 12-15 - Art Explorers Studio
Price includes $100 lab fee. Campers will work with the biomorphic robot Robosapien. Robosapien™ is a sophisticated fusion of technology and personality. Loaded with attitude and intelligence, Robosapien is the first robot based on the science of applied biomorphic robotics. With a full range of dynamic motion, interactive sensors and a unique personality, Robosapien is more than a mechanical companion — hes a multi-functional, thinking, feeling robot with attitude! Campers will learn programming and hacking basics and even turn their Robosapien into a Ninja Bot! Each camper will take home his or her own exciting Robosapien Humanoid Robot. Campers will also build from scratch our Vibrobot soldering project and construct a bot using a toothbrush. We highly recommend taking Camp Robot Mechanic prior to this camp.
