FCYD Camp is proof positive that being diagnosed with diabetes means you have to live a sheltered life. We tried to tell that to our daughter all the time but she never really embraced the idea until she found herself surrounded by kids in her same situation. Noor Youth Camp - Ingleside, IL
Masjid al-Noor Youth Camp is an exciting opportunity to spend time building brotherhood/sisterhood while enjoying recreational activities, and spending time with Shaykh Noman Hussain. The camp will be open for youth between the ages of 12-18. If there are any children that would like to attend under the age of 12, they will be allowed attendance ONLY IF A PARENT/GUARDIAN attends as their chaperone. Brothers and sisters will be in separate accommodations in the same campsite under the supervision of adult male and female camp counselors. DATES: Monday, August 22, 2016 to Wednesday, August 24, 2016. LOCATION: YMCA Camp Duncan in Ingleside, IL COST: $125 per person. $100 for children under 12 (Payments can be given to Shaykh Noman, Sr. Orusa, or Sr. Bushra) ALL MEALS ARE INCLUDED. Are you crazy about Disney? Then come join us for this fun-filled Disney themed camp. Students will work on their singing and dancing skills by creating a musical revue composed of their favorite Disney songs from Tangled, Beauty and the Beast, Hercules, Toy Story, and more! Falcon Soccer Camp - RSU5 Recreation and Community Education
Kick off the summer with this fun and educational soccer camp. Campers will learn about passing, trapping, shooting, dribbling, and gain a better understanding of the correct terminology and rules of the game of soccer. Campers will be divided by age/skill and participate in fun drills and small sided games. Players should come with shin guards, cleats, and a water bottle. Participants should also bring sneakers for the FHS gym in case of inclement weather. Week 10: Dare to…INVENT It is often said that necessity is the mother of invention but during this week of camp our spirit of adventure (and need for fun) will guide us! We will be building collaborative Rube Goldberg machines that will take on the simplest tasks in the most complex and zany ways, test our luck at a home-made catapult competition and invent new toys, games, fashions, and even reinvent ourselves in the process! The Force Awakens in Your Puppet Creations! - OCS Arts Center
Campers will create muppet-type puppets of their favorite Star Wars characters, or other characters: Minions, super-heroes, or animals. Their imagination is the limit!
