Back to School Boot Camp: Fourth and Fifth Grade CurriculumGet your mind and body fit for the school year with this unique experience. Join Mr. Chad Hamilton and Mr. Ben Spencer, both credentialed teachers, for their Back to School Boot Camp! The program combines academic tutoring and athletic activities. Reading, writing, and math skill building will be alternated with athletic activities to prepare incoming second, third, fourth, fifth & sixth graders. All curriculum will be aligned with Common Core Standards. Students will be given optional homework, needed literature and academic materials. Parents will be given an opportunity to share their childs needs prior to the camps introduction so curriculum can be individualized. Students will use the athletic activities and games to guide academic projects. Think calculating averages, graphing and sport related literature. Boot Campers will receive one-on-one and small group instruction! Full Day Camp - University of Tulsa
The Full-Day Camp is a challenging and enjoyable session designed to develop the essential skills of the field player. Each day, campers will enjoy technical training sessions, small and full-sided games, movies, swimming, and much more. In addition, lunch will be provided by The University of Tulsa dining center. Lacrosse (boys) - Seattle Preparatory School
Lacrosse is the fastest growing sport in Washington. The Seattle Prep lacrosse camp promises to be the premier camp in Seattle for 6th, 7th and 8th grade boys of all skill and experience levels. The fast-paced camp will feature skill work, station work and scrimmages with a player to coach ratio of one to five, ensuring campers of all levels receive the attention to maximize their experience. Skills Emphasized: Core mechanics of shooting, passing and ground balls - shooting on the run and with time/space - attacking the goal and dodging - individual and team defense - face-off specialization - goalie coaching - game play. Note: All players supply their own lacrosse equipment (helmet, stick, gloves and pads, etc.). Head lacrosse coach, Rich Stearns, grew up playing lacrosse in Scarsdale, NY and went on to play at Northwestern University for four years. Last year, Coach Stearns took over as the varsity boys lacrosse head coach at Prep. YOU ARE REGISTERING FOR MEDALIST CLASSES AT TPC ON SATURDAYS FROM 10-11AM. The Medalist Level Program is our specially targeted program for players who have graduated from our Tee it Up Program with the goal of developing independent on-course play, including participation on our PGA Junior League teams.
