UNH Outdoor Jobs and Summer Camp Fair 2016 - Durham, NH
Want to work outside this summer? Are you an outdoor program looking for potential employees? Come to the University of New Hampshire's annual Outdoor Jobs and Camp Fair Thursday, Feb. 25, 2016, 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. in the Granite State Room of the Memorial Union Building at UNH. More than 40 employers representing non-profit outdoor and environmental agencies, commercial outfitters, summer camps and international travel companies will attend this year's fair to recruit summer and full-time employees. Some representatives conduct on-the-spot interviews. The fair, which is free for job seekers and open to the public, attracts more than 400 students and others from diverse academic fields, including outdoor education, nursing, natural resources, recreation management, theatre arts, business, and equine sciences. Attendees can win raffle prizes donated by local businesses. This is a great opportunity for networking and obtaining employment or employees early on in the hiring season. Beginning Writing Camp 6th year for this popular & well respected camp ! Turn your rough draft into a brilliant masterpiece in this enriching writing camp. Using the Writers workshop research-based curriculum, campers learn and then refine their writing skills. Writers create their own publishing company, then plan, write, illustrate and produce an amazing picture book.
