Camps - Discovery Camp - Recreation Center at Michelle Obma School of Techn
Participants in Discovery Camp will engage in sports, art classes, swimming lessons, open swim, movie day and weekly field trips. There will be plenty of fun had by all. Participants provide their own sack lunch, swimsuit, towel, movie concession money. Snacks, swim instruction, open swim, all classes, movie admission and field trips are included. No camp July 4. Payment Plan Terms: A $100 deposit per camper and a $10 payment plan processing fee must be paid in full at registration. Remaining camp balance must be paid in full by Monday, June 6, 2016 to attend camp. Contact Recreation & Parks Department for more information. On-line registration for camps is not available. Refund requests made prior to the start date of a program will be cheerfully given less a 5% refund fee. Fencing (1st-2nd) - Head-Royce School
Realize and go beyong your dreams of Zorro, Three Musketeers and lightsaber style through learning fencing as a modern sport! A safe martial arts practice with a sword as a medium! Maître darmes Guillaume Béchaux, has been teaching fencing for 20 years and brings a personal attention to each of his students. Guillaume managed numerous school groups and clubs in France and trained the French wheelchair Olympics team for Athens and Bejiing. The program will develop analytic capabilities and dexterity through a combination of pedagogical games, technicals exercises, tactical exploration and an understanding of the importance of time and space. Fencing is the art of quick reflexes, elegant and athletic movements and mental acuity. It is a practice that enhances an individuals ability to problem solve while also developing physical agility, concentration, flexibility and coordination. 5105311300 x2500

Advanced Algebra Skills (29503A) - Cary Academy
Build on your knowledge of basic algebra by tackling more complex concepts such as polynomials, factoring, parabolas, exponents and radicals. Become more confident about your ability to do well in advanced algebra and gain an appreciation for how algebra really does relate to the real world.
