The 2nd Annual ATHENA Camp for Teen Girls Athena was the Greek goddess of reason, intelligent activity, arts and literature. She was fierce in battle, but also nurturing and creative. At Athena camp we will use expressive arts to explore what it means to be a girl in today's society. We'll do arts-n-crafts, listen to music, sing, decorate t-shirts, do creative writing, learn stress management strategies, explore and share thoughts about what kind of impact we want to leave in our community, bolster self esteem and reinforce the need to celebrate not compete with each other. Serving Mini-Camp 1 - Chaifetz Arena Pavilion
Improve the consistency and toughness of your serve. Serving Mini-Camp will cover overhand standing float and zone serving along with top spin and float jump serving techniques. 314-394-1110
Junior Winds Camp 7/25-7/29 - New Jersey Youth Symphony
This camp will focus on fundamentals and strengthening the skills of young wind and brass players as well as performance. Students will work on two instruments their "major" instrument that they have been playing, and a "minor" wind or brass instrument of their choosing. Secondary instruments will be provided. The day will start with sectionals and technical fundamentals, after a snack and time playing musical Jeopardy and other games, campers will wrap up playing in the full ensemble. Six months playing experience required. Some 4th graders may be eligible to enroll with director approval. This camp takes place at 570 Central Avenue in New Providence. COURSE SUB-CATEGORY N/A GRADES 5th - 7th INSTRUCTOR To Be Announced

This is a great introduction to Robotics. Students learn to assemble and program Lego Mindstorms robots. Students follow the Lego building instructions to create vehicles, animals, humanoids etc. Students will explore how light, touch, sound, and ultrasonic sensors can enhance their robots. 480-833-7338

Week 5: Dare to…EXPERIMENT Just as the name implies, this week will be filled with outrageous experiments, slime of all sorts and a wee bit of silliness as we delve into the wacky world of science. Campers will put their lab coats on as they bust myths and create minor explosions... At the end of the week as we study the science of flight, the Realm will hold its second annual kite flying contest on the beach! (310) 399-1139

Are you looking for a chance to strengthen and reinforce math skills learned during the school year? Would you like to start the next school year at the top of your game? If so, this camp is for you! Attendees will re-visit and review grade- level skills in this fun interactive camp! We will play math games, solve mathematical puzzles, and much more--all while reinforcing key math concepts! Patty Soemer holds a Masters degree in education from Liberty University and has taught various subjects to a variety of ages for the past 21 years. She has a passion to make learning fun and is especially drawn to the areas of language composition and math. 9194244028.0
