Can you tell a bird from its call? Identify a mammal from its prints in the mud? Ever wonder where flying squirrels live? How to catch a snake or a bullfrog? Come join us as we adventure through creeks, marshes, forests, and the many natural places of beauty we have to explore on The Heights campus and all around the metropolitan area. The various ingredients of this camp make for a fantastic summer experience. From the personal attention and fun atmosphere of learning, to the outdoor adventures and games, this is an experience hard to beat or imitate. Activities: short classes, nature walks, daily journal, creek exploration, games, field and fishing trips, and specimen collection. Session I will focus on mammals, reptiles, and birds. Session II will focus on insects and trees. Staff Anton Vorozhko teaches 6th grade homeroom in the middle school. Contact Anton Vorozhko at The Heights School, Notes Save plastic jars with caps and old shoes. The normal dress is basic outdoor attire (shorts and gym shoes). 2017 Teen Winter Retreat - Jackson, OH
Registration for the retreat will be held on Saturday, January 28, from 3– 4 p.m. and will dismiss at 10 a.m. on Sunday, January 29. The Teen Winter Retreat will feature many fun events, activities and programs. You will need to bring your completed health form and activity release form that is signed by your parent/guardian in order to participate. Please bring warm clothes and comfortable shoes as we will probably be taking part in some outdoor activities during the retreat. You will also need to bring your own, bedding, towels and bathroom supplies. Registrations should be submitted by Friday, January 20 to Canter’s Cave 4-H Camp. Teen MMA Summer Camp at GCBJJ - Grove City, OH
GCBJJ will be hosting an MMA camp for teens (age 13-17). This camp will cover all aspects of MMA including: Boxing, Muay Thai kickboxing, Wrestling, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Conditioning. No experience necessary. Cost is $125 per teen. Only equipment they will need is a mouthpiece. We will provide all other equipment. Wear comfortable workout clothes and bring a couple extra changes of clothes. The participants can pack a lunch (we have a fridge and a microwave, or there are three pizza places, Arby's and Subway that are all within walking distance.

Girls Volleyball Day Camps Session #2 - Hollinger Fieldhouse
The Day Volleyball Camps offer instruction at the beginner and advanced levels. Beginners will focus on knowledge of the game, competitive fun, and fundamental ball control. Advanced campers will cover the proper technique for basic skills, offensive playsets, defensive formations, strategy, teamwork and attitude, and setting personal and team goals. Campers will be placed on teams, depending on skill level, with specialized coaching on each level. Each camper should bring comfortable volleyball or cross train-ing sneakers, extra shirt and socks, and a container of water. WCU and its camp staff are not responsible for lost or missing items. All personal equipment should be marked with the campers name. New in 2015! All Day Campers will receive lunch in the WCU Cafeteria. Cost of lunch is included in camp tuition. 610-436-3555

Teen Camp Session 2 - Bolles Whitehurst Campus
Bolles Teen Camp provides exciting activities that will challenge the energies of campers that are entering grades 7 and 8. This fantastic camp is a great way for teens to get out of the house and meet new friends. Teen Camp will utilize the facilities of the beautiful and spacious Bolles San Jose Campus with activities taking place in the swimming pool, gymnasium, athletic fields and the St. Johns River. In addition to experiencing fun-filled days of canoeing, kayaking, boating, tubing, swimming, sports, archery and arts and crafts our teens will enjoy a weekly fun field trip off campus to either the movies, bowling alley, trampoline park or other location. The camp tuition fee you select will cover your campers time at Bolles from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each weekday in addition to a daily hot lunch, weekly field trip fee and camp t-shirt. *Extended care options, one week sessions and Ponte Vedra Campus transportation options are available below.
