Weekly High School Pitching Camp 2 - Kennesaw State University (Stillwell Stadium)
The Owls Baseball Camp Staff is happy to announce a weekly pitching camp this Fall/Winter. This camp will be ran exclusively by Assistant Coach Trey Fowler and is open to any high school age player looking to take his Pitching to the next level. The 4 week program will be structured to ensure that each player learns more about the most important aspects of pitching including visual focus, mechanical efficiency, and how to attack/read hitters. A throwing program will be implemented to increase arm speed and strength along with drills for efficiency, bullpens, and video analysis to ensure that each player exits the 4 week program a better and more confident pitcher. All sessions will be limited to a max of 4 players in order to assure each receives the individual attention and reps to reach the goals of the program. The Dates for the Camp include Sept 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th. Weeks of Discovery Grades (PreK-5th) - Ethical Culture
WEEKS OF DISCOVERY is an exciting vacation break program filled with age-appropriate activities for children in Grades PreK – 5th. The program takes full advantage of a gymnasium and rooftop playground as well as the closeness of Central Park. Throughout the week, children investigate themes incorporated into art, science, and nature activities and share their discoveries with each other. These themes are expanded in other activities, including sports, games, music, movement, storytelling, drama, and cooking. Under the supervision of experienced counselors, children also go on special outings and adventures. Although each child is part of a smaller peer group of similar ages, every child is also a member of the larger group. This gives each child a different and special kind of social and learning experience. Children have fun, exciting days, but there is always time for relaxation, reflection, and individual pursuits. Camp Kinetic. K - 2nd Grade - Girl Scout House
This highly charged camp will make your hair stand on end! Join us to explore physics and chemistry. Well be building, breaking, floating and squishing all sorts of contraptions and gooey concoctions. Pre and Post Camp are available - see our Pre and Post Camp section. Activities are the same each week during the summer. Camp projects change from year to year, but we do repeat many favorite projects. Use the grade your child JUST COMPLETED in the spring as his/her grade for camp registration. AGE LEVEL REQUIREMENTS STRICTLY ENFORCED. This week will include a variety of year end favorite sports and games as well as our Closing Ceremony themed awards and presentations. Featured Field Trip - Twins Game vs. Detroit Tigers at Target Field, Thursday August 25 FYI - The actual day camp runs from 9am-4pm though kids are welcome to get dropped off as early as 7am and picked up as late as 6pm.
