This week long camp is home to children ages 5 to 16. My daughter spends 2 weeks of every summer at this camp. Counselors from all over the globe come to teach campers swimming, archery, exploring nature, digital photography, rock climbing, hiking, canoeing, survivor skills, leadership skills and horseback riding. Trivia Night for Jacaranda Youth Camp - Moline, IL
The Republican Women of Rock Island County are sponsoring a fun trivia night for the benifit of the Jacaranda Youth Camp, a basketball camp that will be taking place later this year in Nairobi, Kenya! More information can be found at this link. www.gofundme.com/nairobibasketball The evenet will be held at MGT New Hope in Moline, 2305 7th Ave at 6:30 on Saturday, June 11th. Please come out and support not only the team going to the Jacaranda Community (http://jacarandacommunity.com/) but also the RWRICo as we get the priveledge of blessing another community! A seat is $10 per person or commit to a whole table for $65 (if booked ahead)! Please RSVP to garuntee a spot. We have 14 tables available. There will be a bake sale table as well! If you wish to donate without attending please go directly to Mr. Burget's gofundme already set up or you may send checks to 617 24th Street Moline, either have them made out to Word of Grace or Repbulican Women of RI County with Nairobi in the memo and we will get them to him!! Reading Rockets is a program designed to be an early intervention for students going into first, second, or third grades. The goal of this program is to provide additional support for students who could benefit from reinforcement in reading skills over the summer. Reading Rockets will help minimize the regression in skills that sometimes occurs over summer vacation. Through this program, students will experience a rich variety of materials that will provide strong links to students reading curriculum. Need-based scholarships may be available. 6106276136.0

So You Want to Be an Animal Trainer: March 21 st Lions, Tigers & Bears OH MY. Well here at EcoAdventures its Gators , Snakes & Lizards, OH MY! Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be an animal keeper? If yes, then youve come to the right place. Not only has some of our staff worked in some great zoos and aquariums but we have a great collection of our own! This camp was designed for students that want to find out what it is like to work with animals. Maybe you could be a dolphin trainer or animal trainer, or even a vet? It a lot of fun working with animals but you will also be introduced to the non –glamorous things you do as a zoo keeper. Thats right- the yucky stuff- Clean poop! We wont make you clean it- but you can get to make, inspect and eat your own edible chocolate poop for a snack to give you energy to prepare to pass the physical tests: shoveling hay, carrying heavy buckets of food?
