Baseball Camp A - Warner Park Baseball Complex
The basic design of the CDS Baseball camp is to help young baseball players develop a fundamental baseball skill set and learn tactical elements of the game. The goal of the camp is to equip campers with the skills to compete at a high level of play. The camp will be directed by David Houseton, CDS Varsity Baseball Head Coach at Covenant Day School. He will be assisted by his coaching staff as well as former and returning Covenant Day baseball players. STP Middle School Camp - Schaumburg Tennis Plus (STP)
This camp is designed for the intermediate to advanced intermediate player. Players will be grouped by ability and will learn all aspects of the game. Technical strokes, keeping score, rallying and competing. Players will be given the opportunity to play team matches at the conclusion of the session. Everything Art July T/Th - All Things Art Studio
Use your imagination to create fantastic and colorful projects. This combination class offers children a sampling of art projects using various media such as painting, watercolors, collage, and pastels. It is amazing what you can do when you explore your imagination. A variety of materials are used to create your many masterpieces – Many projects are built upon each class, so that students experience a variety of mediums and take home several projects. Rutgers 2016 Design Intensive - Civic Square Building
Rutgers 2016 Design Intensive Website: This program seeks to develop the graphic design skills of motivated high school artists. Created and supervised by Mason Gross faculty, the curriculum focuses on core principles of design while introducing relevant software. Participants will become familiar with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign while exploring visual problems and producing work suitable for a college admissions portfolio. The Design Intensive includes studio work, technical demonstrations, group critiques, and a field trip to New York City to visit working design studios. Primary emphasis is placed on building visual awareness, and on making software serve the designers vision.
