This camp is an introduction into the world of robotics. Campers will be introduced to six simple machines and how they are incorporated into more complex machines. Campers will learn about circuits and power sources as they build our Mars-like RC Rover. The radio-controlled RC Rover is capable of performing 23 experiments and activities. Campers will also have fun constructing our Aluminum Can Robot and will work in the areas of observation, experimentation and trial and error as they build, race, and experiment with their robots. Campers will be able to take home the robots they build for hours of fun after the camp week has finished! Price includes a lab fee of $45. 805-570-1988

Kids Mini-Camp - 10/12/16 Afternoon Session - Berkeley Heights, NJ
So the kids are off from school today...Bring them to Kayla's Creative Art Studio for an fun, artful, educational experience! Our dedicated Instructors have designed Kids Mini-Camps for all the days that the kids are off from school between now and the New Year. Students will experiment with different mediums to create a new masterpiece each day! Students are welcome to bring a peanut-free snack and drink. If your child is staying for the full day, please pack a lunch and drink for them. Art instruction begins at the designated start time. We reserve the right to cancel a class if less than 4 children are registered. No refunds or credits if parent/guardian cancels within 10 days of the start date or for missed classes.

Grades 1-3 Music Camp - Terrace Park Elementary Music Room
Students will enjoy exploring music through playing games, singing, dancing, and playing a variety of instruments. A portion of each day will be spent in the piano lab, and students will have the opportunity to learn a song or two on the piano during the week. Piano skills are not required to register as instruction will be tailored to individual ability levels. Students entering grades 1-3 are invited to join Mrs. Mott and Mrs. Croll for an action packed camp full of engaging and fun music activities. Do you think you can solve a highly interactive robotics game? Would you like to create an effective scoring robot both using tele-operated mode and autonomous mode using the VEX IQ Design system? If you answered yes to those questions, this is the camp for you! Students will learn how to design effective robots, overcome design challenges, and effectively use motors, gears and sensors in a winning combination to create a robot. On the last day of camp, participants will run their robots in a real competition in front of friends and family!
