The Spring Eagles Fitness Program (03/14/2016 - 06/02/2016) is a gym membership open to all LAMC Students 16 years old and up. Must be enrolled in at least 1 unit in the current semester to qualify for the student discount. When you enroll in this program you gain access to the Fitness Center, Indoor Track, All Community Fitness Classes, and Locker Rooms. This programs price was a one-time fee of $45.00 for all L.A.M.C. students. NOW $35.00. A 10% Discount will be applied to groups that sign-up 2 or more people within the same transaction. Kid's Summer Clay Camp - San Pedro, CA
CLAY CAMP - 3 days Monday, June 20th, Tuesday June 21st and Monday June 27th, 2016 8:30am - 12:30pm at Seaside Studios San Pedro Projects will include making fairy/troll habitats for the garden! The first 2 days in camp we will be forming our projects utilizing basic hand building techniques such as coil, slab and pinch pot techniques. The 3rd day (Monday of the following week) will be for glazing the piece with the goal of having a finished fired piece by end of the mixed arts camp July 1st. Kid's clay camp is recommended for kids between the ages of 7 and 13 years of age. Clay camp is $85 per child per session. It is highly recomended to do both clay and mixed arts camps if possible as they tie in nicely together. Do you know how Geology, Archaeology & Paleontology are alike? Answer: They all involve digging in dirt to find answers about the past! In this camp, you will learn about fossils, dinosaurs, human history, artifacts, and Native American arrowheads, shells and pottery, rocks and minerals, and medicinal plants. Campers will have the time of their lives digging in dirt, painting with actual paint rock chunks from a quarry, and learning the secrets that our earth holds.
