The week will culminate with our own parade as we march and move to the beat of our homemade instruments. Parents are welcome to participate in this exciting camp experience. Choose from two different sessions. *If you have older children aged 5-7 years, they can participate in Around the World in Five Days Camp at the same time- June 20-24. TEEN RETREAT at Camp Timpoochee - designed for teens, by teens... This year's RETREAT will be held February 24th-26th and will include activities such as: team building, resume writing, interviews, the art of sports fishing, shooting sports, outdoor cooking, arts/crafts and dance/drama. Our teenagers will participate in a 4-H service project “Chemo Kits” for local individuals suffering from cancer. They will also learn how to apply for 4H scholarships and so much more.

Camp Yakety Yak (CYY) is a 501c3 organization that was created in 2010 to help children with special needs (e.g., Autism, ADHD, Intellectual Disability) grow socially and emotionally by improving their communication skills. Our educational mission is twofold: 1) provide instruction in social & emotional skills to children (ages 6-11) with special needs & their siblings to support friendship development in a day camp setting and 2) provide an opportunity for future professionals in educational and therapeutic fields to gain knowledge and hands-on experience in working with children with special needs. Explore the world of erupting volcanoes, sparkling rocks and minerals, traveling sediments, gigantic earth movements and crazy prehistoric animal fossils. Mornings will feature fun nature education and the afternoons are full of nature related recreation. This camp will focus on encouraging middle and early high school aged athletes to develop their basketball skills for all level players. Focusing on the fundamentals of ball handling, passing, shooting, agility, positional and competition to nurture the total athlete. Coach Soemer has been coaching youth sports for 21 years. During this time he has coached basketball and soccer at various levels. He has also taught physical education for the past 14 years.
