(T) 2016 Youth Leaders Summit (T) - Shepherdsville, KY
Tentatively scheduled for 29-31 January 2016, the Youth Leaders Summit, or YLS, is a consolidated Troop JLT that is conducted annually - the 2016 event will take place at Camp Crooked Creek. YLS should be attended by youth in the rank of 2nd Class or above and be newly elected leaders, or expected to become leaders within their troop. The training emphasizes YOUTH leadership of a troop, the Patrol Method, youth leadership positions and duties, basic problem solving and other principles of youth leading youth. Class size is limited to 30 Scouts, so be sure to register early!
Youth Day Camp - Rexburg, ID
Basketball Day Camp for youth (boys and girls) ages 7 - 15. Hosted by Idaho Slam Jam, featuring four professional basketball players, Tammy Brawner, Chris Staples, Zig Zag, and Werm. There will be two sessions at $25 per session. Session fees cover the camp, a camp t-shirt, and one ticket for the family BBQ between sessions. Morning session starts at 10am, and the afternoon starts at 1pm. BBQ is at noon. Additional BBQ tickets can be purchased online for $5 each.

An after school program especially designed to give teens experience on the potters wheel. Students will have sole access to a wheel for each class (there will also be generous out of class studio time available) and will learn the process with instruction from a well experienced art teacher and potter. Hands on, group and one-on-one mentoring will help students excel in conquering throwing. No coupon codes accepted for this course. 517-265-1651

From kissing frogs, sitting on peas, to slaying dragons, campers will engage in many fun and exciting opportunities. Building castles, creating magic fairy dust, crafting a coat of arms, and designing a custom knight/princess costume are just some of the excitement this camp has to offer. We will cover all the knight and princess essentials, especially kindness and manners. The week will conclude with a Fairytale Festival for families and siblings to showcase the weeks creations!
