Increasing physical activity helps school age children to live a healthy lifestyle. Intermediates Ages 10+ Grasshoppers players are technically sound and tactically engage. Players are beginning to determine their style of play and how it matches up with other styles. This class will incorporate both singles and doubles strategy and play. sportsmanship, mental toughness, and Fitness. Point play, and fun games are taught on a 78 court using a 25-27" racquet. Each Winter Uprising Faceoff Days will consist of warm ups, presentation and group practice of specific faceoff techniques as well as real time faceoffs. Faceoff techniques will include footwork, stance, hand position, primary move, counter move, GB play, wing play, stick work, and shooting instruction, etc. Individual player observation and instruction will occur throughout. Clinic will conclude with a skill appropriate king of the hill.
