En Garde! Experience the thrill of sword fighting through the Olympic sport of fencing in a fun, fast-paced, and exciting environment. New and returning campers will discover the art of swordplay, develop fencing skills, learn about the rules and history of the sport, and hear about fencing in the 2016 Summer Olympic Games. Fencers will engage in a wide array of games and skill-building activities designed to teach the sword-fighting technique. All equipment is provided and safety is emphasized. My kids were able to experience a lot of different things at Camp Tecumseh this summer. They have the usual camp activities, but they also have rock wall climbing, archery, riffly, tube slides, a nature center, candle making, disc golf, fishing and a mini farm. Teen weekend is for youngsters age 12-17, and campers have the option to bring a friend of the same sex and approximate age. This weekend program allows for interactions amongst peer groups, as well as a learning experience for campers without diabetes. Educational sessions relating to “teen issues,” “school issues,” and “How-to-be-a-friend” are led by pediatric endocrinologists, nurses, dieticians and mental health professionals. We understand that networking and the support of a teen’s peers is critical at this age, so we provide fun and interactive activities such as a beach party, luaus, casino night, and a lot of land sports.

Ages 5-6, All levels of experience welcome Two weeks, Mon-Fri Mon June 6-17 12:30 PM-3:00 PM Cost: $165 tuition, $25-$50 off with early registration! Camp will conclude with an informal performance for family and friends. An introductory acting camp for ages 5-6.
