Kids Yoga Summer Day Camp - Lansing, MI
Yoga knows no age boundaries. It has benefits for the older and younger alike. Just B Yoga provides a quality yoga program for children that benefits the body and the mind. The camp is taught by Belinda Thurston and Monica Pino. Our classes teach children body awareness and positive self image while finding healthy movement exercises. Camp Greenwell - Week 9 - The Greenwell Foundation
Ages 6-12 by June 20, 2016 [ages 6 (who have completed kindergarten) –12 by first day of camp session]. Camp Greenwell is everything nature and adventure with opportunities to kayak, hike, craft, fish, do archery, play and discover. Mid-week, campers will take a wagon ride over to the Manor House area where they can build forts with bamboo, explore the gardens, play water games and capture the flag, visit the Barn and participate in our Nature Time program. Daily free time allows the campers to let their imagination and interests drive their play while in the outdoors. Each afternoon, campers are provided an afternoon snack and each week there is a chance to make Smores. The week ends with Tye-Dye Friday for a take-home memory of the week at camp. Camp Greenwell is offered all eight weeks of our summer camp program. Both AM and PM Extended care and Drop-In Extended Care is available. This summer camp experience starts with creative forest animal art lessons in the morning and nature adventures in the afternoon. Give your child a head start by providing them the opportunity to learn a new language. Class sizes are very small (Maximum of 8) which allows us to adapt instruction to each childs personal learning needs. Every two to three weeks we have a new theme for instruction. Cultural holidays for specific target languages and major US holidays are included in the main teaching theme. Children learn basic conversation topics that are age appropriate.
