Goodwin Golf Advanced Camp - Goodwin Golf Park
The Advanced Camp offers serious game improvement for the serious junior golfer. The camp concentrate on instruction which will take a campers game to the next level, with the emphasis on mental conditioning, course management, and the short game. By utilizing tournament-like conditions, campers are taught and tested on those skills identified as being mandatory to successfully compete at even the highest competitive junior golf levels. Amazing Race Week 2 - Building B
Have you ever daydreamed about exciting adventures exploring foreign destinations? Join us on our Amazing Race across North America, Europe, Asia, Africa, and Australia. Well read engaging stories and participate in exciting challenges from around the world and learn about the geography and culture of a different continent each day. Young Robot Builder - Goleta Presbyterian Church
This camp is an introduction into the world of robotics. Campers will be introduced to six simple machines and how they are incorporated into more complex machines. Campers will learn about circuits and power sources as they build our Mars-like RC Rover. The radio-controlled RC Rover is capable of performing 23 experiments and activities. Campers will also have fun constructing our Aluminum Can Robot and will work in the areas of observation, experimentation and trial and error as they build, race, and experiment with their robots. Campers will be able to take home the robots they build for hours of fun after the camp week has finished! Price includes a lab fee of $45. 805-570-1988

Week 5 AM - Fishing - NESS
Summer is the best time of year for fishing, but you need the knowledge of fish habits to help narrow down the best fishing areas by boat and from shore. Open to both experienced and new anglers. Learn the basics of a variety of styles of fishing including rod and reel trolling, bottom fishing, fly fishing, clamming and lobster fishing. Students will also learn about tying knots, baiting hooks, cleaning gear, and practicing fishing safety. Become more aware of local fisheries and fishing impacts. We practice catch and release only. Students should bring their own fishing rods and tackle ready for use. Some NESS rods are available and bait will be provided, please call to inquire. 860-535-9362
