Pre-teen Improv Summer Camp (Session 3) - Norfolk, VA
This camp is open to children ages 7 to 12. Students will explore the key elements of both long and short form improvisation. The children will play numerous improv games which will serve to develop and enhance their public-speaking, social, and team-building skills. This camp will be conducted in a non-judgmental environment where the students will build confidence, make friends, and most importantly… have fun. Snacks will be provided on a daily basis and there will be a pizza-party for lunch on Friday. The camp concludes on Saturday with all students performing in a graduation show on the stage of the Push Comedy Theater. Each student will receive a Push Comedy Theater T-shirt and be eligible to perform in the 5th Annual Norfolk Comedy Festival in late September 2016. We will have 3 sessions throughout the summer. Session1: July 11th - 15th, 9:30am to noon Session 2: August 1st - 5th, 9:30 to noon Session 3: August 22nd - 26th, 9:30 to noon These are all beginner level sessions, no experience is necessary. Tution is $200 for new students (includes a t-shirt), $190 for returning students.

Baby Crow Teen Theatre Camp is a 5 day advanced theatre camp taught by members of NYC theatre company, Baby Crow Productions. The camp runs from July 5th-July 9th from 10am-5pm at 113 W. Lexington on the Independence Square. Tuition is $150 for the whole week. Campers will work with professional teaching artists to develop skills. This summer we offer specialty classes in areas such as, vocal performance, acting, musical theatre, dance, audition technique, and much more! Each class is taught by NYC working professionals and teaching artists from Baby Crow Productions. In addition to a traditional approach to training, our camp will provide campers with the experience of creating their own original work. Extreme Adventure Camp - Butler Campus
Extreme Adventure Camp is a two week coed camp for incoming 7th and 8th graders. The first week consists of adventurous activities and field trips based out of our Butler Campus. Field trips include indoor rock climbing, mountain biking, and kayaking / paddle boarding. There will also be numerous activities and adventure games at Butler Campus, including our Project Adventure high ropes challenge course. (Campers must bring their own bike and be proficient in cycling and swimming.) Week 1 will prepare students for our Extreme Adventure Trip (June 20 - 24) in Fayetteville, West Virginia, where campers will camp in tents, go rafting, rock climbing, and go on the tree top canopy tour and zip lines! *Please note participants must be twelve years old at the time of camp; demonstrate the ability to follow directions; and complete a skills assessment before going on the West Virginia trip. 216-455-0154

Actors Workshop - The Philadelphia School
The Actors Workshop Club is geared toward 5th-8th grade students who love to act/perform and want to learn more about how to create theatrical productions. Taught by Philadelphia actor and performing artist, Katie Croyle, for the past three years, Actors Workshop explores performance techniques and methods, including: improvisation, vocal exercises, physical movement (and dance), script study/scene work, and self-created work. This club is a great opportunity for students to explore their own creativity and use performance as a medium for self-expression.
