Now in its 5th year, Festif is a family fun event that combines cycling, trail running, entertainment, food, and fun. Rides range from family friendly distances to a quad burning 44 miles. All riders will have cue sheets and routes well marked. There will be rider support on each route and both the 20 and 44 mile route each have a well stocked rest stop. NEW for 2016: 5k and 10k Fox and Hound runs! Chase our "fox" around Camp Fowler during these trail runs. The 5k is both family and walker friendly and prizes will be given to anyone who is able to follow the foxes clues and catch them before the finish. Cycling or running isn't for you? Join us in a fun and educationally stimulating day learning about elections. Students will design colorful handmade campaign buttons, set up voting stations, play fun election games, and experience creative hands on art activities. Students will prepare a tasty mid-morning snack and participate in choice games, and indoor and outdoor activities. Weather permitting we will enjoy a walk to Taney park for recess. Please pack a lunch (including a beverage) in a disposable bag. For the safety of our students, please DO NOT INCLUDE PEANUT BUTTER or any nuts in your childs lunch. The program will run from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with drop-off available in the yard beginning at 8:00 a.m. (at no extra charge). **Extended day is available from 3:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. for an additional $20.
