Royal Family Kids Annual Fall Shopping Bazaar 2016 - Princeton, WV
We’re looking forward to another successful Bazaar this fall! If you missed out on our annual Fall/Christmas Bazaar last year, you certainly won’t want to miss this year! A fun filled day of shopping with local crafters and vendors to support Royal Family Kids Camp of Princeton, WV which is a camp for abused, neglected, and at risk children of Southern WV. (More information on our organization can be found on our Facebook page) Table Fees are $25.00 per table and each vendor/crafter will need to provide 1 item to donate for the silent auction. Table fees and silent auction proceeds go to the camp. – Should you need a larger space please message us and we will accommodate you with a fee to best fit the space needed. Campaign for Kids Holiday Silent Auction - undefined, VT
This is going to be a fun event! We are partnering with Community Hope and Action and West River Valley Thrives to bring you an evening of fun and community support. CHAC has been bringing you the Third Saturday free monthly dinners and concerts for the past year and on December 19 they have welcomed CFK to be there as well with a silent auction to raise money for our wonderful afterschool programs. Home School Comes Alive with Shakespeare - Location: Center for The Creative Arts
For the Shakespeare buff or novice this is a fun yet educational program as we make history come alive through performance of a Shakespeare classic. This year we are adding a new dimension in that we will take one of his classic tragedy plays and add a humorous twist. While the play will keep with the essence of the original storyline and characters, students will find this play highly entertaining to perform. This truly unique course is especially designed for the home-¬schooled that incorporates history, literature, and performance. History comes alive as students create and act out their interpretation of imaginary and real characters during Shakespeares time. Students will also learn performance skills as they practice techniques for stage acting along with the wonderful experience of performing an adaptation of one of Shakespeares classic plays. Plays under consideration are Hamlet and Romeo & Juliet with a twist. A fully staged performance will be presented for family and friends at the conclusion of this course. Cardinal Soccer Camp - Concordia University
The Concordia soccer camp is designed for boys and girls age 5 – 8th Grade who are interested in learning new soccer skills in a fun and competitive environment. Each player will have the chance to learn from and interact with current Cardinal players as well as the coaching staffs from both the Mens and Womens Soccer teams. All of the sessions will focus both on individual development as well as playing with a team in many different positions. Our goal for this camp is to put campers in an environment that they can enjoy the game, but also give them as many opportunities as possible for individual skill development. Girl Scout Sunday: Toy Hack - The Mini Maker
Patch Included During our Toy Hack sessions your kids are given a selection of old toys, such as, a GI Joe, Barbie Doll, Legos, Dinosaur figures, ect. Your kids use basic tools like a screw driver to "hack" the toys apart. Then with the use of tape, pipe cleaners, or glue gun the kids are able to reuse and recycle the pieces and create a new toy with them. For example: A Barbie Doll body with a T-Rex Head and Zombie Foot. During this session the kids are also asked to use their imaginations to create a story around the figure they have created.
