Minecraft Modding! Camp @ SMCC - San Marcos Community Center
Why just *play* Minecraft when you can *create* Minecraft? In this camp designed for quick learners or those with block-based coding experience, campers will learn how to code in Java by making a mod for Minecraft! This is professional, text-based coding. Create and then craft a sword out of mushy bananas, or spawn a flying golden cow! Make the full transition from player to content creator! All Star Camp Session 1 - Sunken Diamond
The Stanford All Star Baseball Camp (Session 1) is designed to be the best baseball camp you will ever attend. Campers will enjoy a full practice and a full game each day of camp, with first class instructors from over 40 universities. This type of setup allows for personal coaching from high level coaches, in addition to exposure to many other Schools besides just Stanford. The All Star camp has grown so much over the last few years that we have split it into multiple sessions to accommodate the demand. SESSION 1 is the only one that offers a RESIDENT (Dorm) OPTION. **Registration is divided into two selections.** FIRST, select PRIMARY position. That ensures we can create teams at camp. Elite Level/GK Specialty Camps Session #1 - Vonnie Gros Athletic Field
The WCU Field Hockey Elite Level & GK Specialty Camp offers a unique op-portunity for the serious field hockey athlete. The camp has been designed to challenge athletes in settings different from the traditional camp situations. The camps will offer tactics and techniques in goal scoring, defensive strategy, and goal-keeping technique. Each evening will conclude under the lights with game play. These offerings will appeal to the serious field hockey athlete! EQUIPMENT Each camper should bring a stick, shinguards, sneakers or turf shoes, mouthguard, sunscreen, and a container of water (no glass). Goal-keepers must bring their own equipment. Young Scientist (HALF DAY ONLY) - San Juan Del Rio Catholic School
This is our HALF DAY option for Young Scientist. This stimulating camp offers an incredible collection of projects and experiments that will amuse and amaze your little scientist! By being involved with several hands-on activities your child will explore the basic scientific ideas that play a role in everyday life. Campers will also learn how the scientific method helps give us the answers to our many questions. Well be very busy in this camp while exploring projects and experiments in topics such as chemistry, physics, engineering, biology, and MORE! This camp is perfect for the most curios little scientists, ages 4 and 5. Sample Projects: Glowing firefly, Seashell necklace, Slime Creation, Water Bottle Rocketry.
