LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Programmable Speed Bots - Wow Science - Voorhees
Using iOS and Android devices, campers will program a robot to do many tricks, including pulling off ollies--a trick where a skateboarder or snowboarder can jump into the air without ramping off something else. This robot can pull off ollies, do a quick spin in place, speed boost while driving (called grabs), jump around like a hot potato, pull off wheelies, or rocket across the room and turn on a dime before zipping off in a new direction. All this as campers have fun mastering basic concepts of programming. Bring your cell phone if you have one. NOTE: THIS PROGRAM RUNS MONDAY THROUGH THURSDAY FOR A HALF DAY. FRIDAYS ARE FIELD TRIP DAYS AND ARE THEREFORE FULL DAYS. UNLESS THE CAMP DIRECTOR GIVES YOU AN EARLIER ARRIVAL TIME, PLAN TO DROP OFF YOUR CHILD AT 9:00 AM ON FRIDAYS. UNLESS INSTRUCTED TO PICK UP AT A LATER TIME, PLAN TO PICK YOUR CHILD UP AT 4:00 PM ON FIELD TRIP DAYS. CAMP IS CLOSED ON FIELD TRIP DAYS AS ALL TEACHING STAFF/COUNSELORS GO ON THE TRIPS. Early bird Wow Tech weekly tuition is $170 plus $30 for field trip. Field Trip: The Da Vinci Center, PA Field Trip on Friday,... 8775412267.0
