Learn and master the sport of archery in a safe environment. Participants will learn an excellent, nationally recognized beginners 9 step to the 10 ring progression which was created by the Coaches Developmental Committee of the National Archery Association. Archery helps participants concentration and increases discipline. Exciting drills and fun games will be implemented in this camp. Teen Week Overnight Camp - Fort Worth, TX
Teen week was so much fun during 2016, we have added it again for 2017. This is a special session only for those 13 and older. Space will be limited and run at a lower number of campers than traditional sessions. This week will focus on activities designed for older campers. At YMCA Camp Carter Overnight Camp, campers live, play and build deep bonds with their peers. Campers must rely on the others in their cabin groups to share daily responsibilities. Teen Week Overnight Camp, runs from Sunday afternoon until Friday evening and includes 15 meals and overnight accommodations in a fully climate controlled cabin with lots of supervision by our well trained staff.

Kid's Yoga & Improv Camp - Baton Rouge, LA
Love Move Breathe and PlaYoga at Ambassadors of Light/Agame have teamed up to offer a 4-day summer yoga and improvisation camp THIS JULY!! For almost 3 decades YFC and Campus Life have been a safe haven for 1000’s of middle and high school students. From weekly meetings, amazing volunteers, Mr. Happy Band, JV Dares, small groups, Florida Breakaway, JV Camp, Winter Weekend, DCLA, Colorado Challenge, pig scrambles and a good game of seek and destroy, there hasn’t been a dull moment. This holiday season we are inviting our Campus Life Alumni to Come Home For Christmas. On Thursday December 17th we invite you to join us from 7pm-9pm for a Campus Life Alumni open house. This is a great opportunity to see how the building has changed, share Campus Life memories, and hear how Campus Life is still giving life to so many kid’s stories. We are still looking for some interested teens for the TCTA Theatre Arts Program! It's free, there are 2 sessions at 2 different locations June 13-July 8 @ Hancock Recreation Center July 11- Aug. 5 @ Doris Miller Auditorium Monday - Friday 1-5PM Write, direct, perform and tour to other camps a contemporary performance piece that will include written word, dance, puppetry, etc. The Artists we have hired for the camp have an extensive performance and technical background.
