Summer Kids/Teen CrossFit Camp - Gig Harbor, WA
Join us for the kick off to our Summer Kids/Teen CrossFit Camp. We will be doing baseline measurements to test speed, explosiveness, and strength. Then re test every 5 weeks. A makeup test will be performed on Tuesday, Maybe 21st at 4:30pm. Your child should arrive on time, with proper attire and footwear. Flat bottom shoes are preferred for lifting. They should be well hydrated and have eaten. They should also bring a water bottle. We have water to fill their bottles, but will not provide cups. We will go the full hour each day. We will split out time between inside and outside, so sunscreen may be needed. Parents and driving teens, please drive careful when coming up Foster, especially across the Cushman trail cross walk. Also, be aware of clients from classes before and after the camp coming and going. There is plenty of parking in the parking lot and across the street in the grassy field.

Youth Rally - The Power of Choice - Bloomfield, MO

Kid's in the Kitchen Camp - Mays Landing, NJ
Our fourth week of cooking camp is for our 8-13 year old age group. In this 5 day fun filled camp, kids will visit the very places where food come's from and that's not the frozen food isle of the grocery store. Each day, we will explore the very places where beautiful, delicious, healthy food comes from. Then, it's back to the kitchen where we will create yummy dishes with the products that we learned about. Kids will have totally hands on experience both in and outside the kitchen. They will learn about nutrition, sustainability, responsible food sourcing along with basic cooking techniques, safe food handling, basic knife skills, recipe reading and so much more. Classes will be Monday thru Thursday from 8am-2pm with a fun cooking competition on Friday where the kids will cook for the parent's and compete for titles like most creative, dish, best knife skills, best use of cooking techniques and more. Price-$250/student Each student will receive Hands on experience learning age appropriate techniques for preparing and cooking all types of food. Skills in the visual arts are built in the same way as learning to play a musical instrument or sport: by practicing and training, and by challenging you with new techniques and ideas. In Drawing and Discovery, young artists ages 6-11 will explore fundamental concepts of line, texture, shading, and color through the fun, creative, and age-appropriate projects. Students will try their hand at figure drawing, portraits, volume and perspective, and experiment with professional art materials. Students will work independently or as a group according to their age, level of experience, personal interest and individual artistic style.
