Kid's Fit Camp A three week kids fitness program for kids ages 6 - 13. Sign your children up for this fun and educational fitness program. 2016 - Camp 4 Kids CIT Try-Outs - Orange, CA
The heartbeat of Camp4Kids is our volunteer staff. After all, without a great staff, who would bring the magic of summer camp to the kids and teens who need it most? Great Counselors aren't just born, they're carefully trained! Our Counselor-in-Training program (CIT for short) is the venue through which we teach teens the skills and expertise necessary to care for campers. CITs must be a minimum of 16-years-old at the time of camp. Though previous camp experience is not required, it certainly helps. After extensive training "down the hill" (outside of camp), CITs are paired with Senior Counselors while in camp, receiving first hand experience and one-on-one training, learning what it takes to be an effective leader while in a supervised and controlled environment. Being a great Counselor comes from years of training as a CIT. Come down and try out! RSVP through private message.

Bill Waris Blue Jays Spring Basketball Camp - Saint Thomas More
The Bill Waris Blue Jays Basketball Club will be hosting a Spring Basketball Camp at Saint Thomas More Grade School on April 2nd and 3rd for grades 3rd through 8th grade. The camp will held for grades 3rd-5th on Saturday from 9am-11am and Sunday from 12pm-2pm. Grades 6th-8th grade will be held on Saturday from 11am-1pm and Sunday from 2pm-4pm. CJ and Nick Naudet 4 year Varsity Basketball Lettermen from Bishop OHara High School and Timothy Waris Jr. currently playing on the varsity basketball team from Rockhurst High School will be running the basketball camp and showing the young campers what they have learned over the years playing basketball at Bishop OHara and Rockhurst High School. FR 4:30P-5:30P Adventures in Art History All Ages Pam Miles - Beach Art Center
April 22,29,May 6,13 & 20 We have explored Cave Painting, Egyptian Tomb Painting, Vase Paintings from Crete, Greek Columns combined with self portraits as Roman Senators, Byzantine Mosaics and Romanesque Book Art. This winter we will be finishing up Romanesque Book Art and starting Gothic Stained Glass Windows. The students will be designing a stained glass window using paint and focusing on their favorite person, place or thing as the subject. From there we will be doing an up-to-date portrait of Mona Lisa using the body images of current internet and pop culture stars along with an au courant landscape in watercolors. The year will probably culminate in an Impressionist still life based on the work of Vincent Van Gogh. There will be a slide review before each session to update the new-comers! 7275964331.0

Teachers: Ansley Young and Pam Peters From puffer fish to starfish, we will make an ocean of fun from giant coffee filters, watercolors, sharpies, tempera paint, watercolors, patterned papers and more. We will engage in conversations about sea animals and read stories about their lives and habitats. Enjoy your childs art when its on display the last day of camp.
