Participants must be able to swim 50 yards of front crawl as well as 50 yards of breaststroke in good form. American Red Cross Lifeguards and Water Safety Instructors will lead participants through two water sessions per day which will include group lectures on Aquatics Safety as well as introductions to Aquatic Sports. On the last day, participants will have the opportunity to use our giant inflatables and will take part in a Junior Lifeguarding Competition. This camp gives students the chance to develop socially and musically. My 10 year old daughter loves the fact she can be out in nature, feels safe and can learn about music with like-minded children. Summer Kids’ Camp right here at Olympic...is it possible? Yes, we are once again hosting a summer kids camp for kids between second and eighth grade. Three days and two nights of fun, friends, and a challenge about what it means to follow Jesus. Activities include :Horseback Riding, Hiking, Night Games, Campfires, and Swimming. While we are going to have a great time, we will also be spending time learning about what it means to go deeper in our relationship with God. The image of water in the Bible helps us to understand our need for Christ. Should you invite friends? Absolutely, we hope you do! Youngsters and their families will enjoy stories, crafts, songs, and surprises at Toddler Boot Camp. This themed four-week story time is geared to children 1-5 years old to encourage them to transition from the baby stages to a big kid. Stories and songs such as "Bye Bye Binky," " No More Diapers," and "No More Monsters," will be shared to make transitioning for parent and child a fun experience.

Swimming 3 - Brigham Young University
Come join coach John Brooks and his staff at the BYU Swimming Camp. Our camp offers four days of training and feedback. You will define your own specific needs as a competitive swimmer, determine personal training guidelines to meet these needs and then develop individual goals to increase your performance potential throughout the year. To help determine these guidelines, you will receive interval training evaluations and coach critiques specific to your needs. Throughout the week you will increase your performance potential through the use of drills, workout sets, time trials, competitions and video sessions. In class, you will discover the theory behind powerful, winning strokes. You will study detailed sequential movements of competitive strokes, learn fundamental competitive techniques, view contemporary training films and receive valuable feedback from the analysis of personal videotapes. In the pool you will undergo extensive drills, workout sets and time trials. You will review your personal videotaping in class to give you insight into your training strengths and weaknesses, helping you increase your competitive edge.
