Teen Youth Camp - Jackson, KY
Teens. Youth Camp is just around the corner - July 27-31. If you are planning to attend this camp with Pastor Danny, contact him and he will help you get registered. The cost is $100/per student. If your family is unable to raise the money for camp, contact the church office. We do not want any student to miss out on this spiritual impacting week because of $100. Mount Carmel Youth Camp is in Kentucky. Brochures are on the table in the foyer.

Weinberg Y in Waverly Cycle a Kid to Camp - Baltimore, MD
Announcing our first annual Weinberg Cycle a Kid to Camp event! Join us for a lot of fun and raise funds to send Baltimore City children to Y Camp where they will spend the summer learning, laughing and playing, as children should. Register to ride for an hour or all four OUTSIDE on the cycle studio bikes! We will have a live DJ pumping the jams to keep your feet pedaling for Y kids! Giveaways will occur evey hour for the riders! And we will have refreshments. Register and begin fundraising! Ride for four hours and fundraise (or donate) $231. $231 sends a kid to Y Camp for an entire week. Raise or donate $58 and ride for an hour. Register online today.

Water World - Vasona Lake County Park
Water, water everywhere, undeniably one of the most crucial elements to life on our planet is water. Yet how many people understand the basics of this life giving resource? Use investigation, observation, and exploration to understand more about this amazing resource. Do hands-on experiments involving dropping, spraying, heating, and freezing and discover the mysterious properties of water and how it changes to different states of matter. Explore the local watershed to see how water moves and changes shape along its path to the sea. Search the creek to look for critters that live in or near water. Meet and take a close look at YSIs live aquatic animals and develop a better appreciation for the world of water. 408-827-5507

Knit, Purl - Hopkins Campus
Learn how to knit or take your knitting skills to the next level with hours of instruction and practice in this hands-on camp. Beginning knitters will learn how to cast on, knit, purl and sew their creations together. More advanced knitters will practice reducing and adding stitches while learning about tension and gauge. June 6-9: Natural Crafts (Ages 9-12) - Mountain Kids!
Be inspired by the natural world as you explore the surrounding mountains, collect natural materials, and create your own eco-art! Projects will include: making paint from rocks we collect, collecting clay and making pinch pots or other imaginative creations, nature collage, and felted beads. Fairy Tale Theatre - OCS Arts Center
Campers will be offered the chance to play their favorite character in a fairy tale mashup that promises lots of laughs and maybe a lesson or two. They will learn the basics of theatre performance while rehearsing a show that will be performed for family and friends on the last day of class. When campers are signed up, please tell us what character they would like to be and the teachers will write an original play incorporating all the chosen characters. Cutoff date for signups is July 13 (to complete script writing). Check in for overnight campers will be at (dorm) from 1:00pm-2:30pm. Van will leave for Cajun Courts at 3:15pm. Residential campers must be at least 8 yrs. old.
