Secret Agent - Polygon Mission Grade 3 (Monday) - Janney Elementary School
American University student teachers are looking for enthusiastic third graders who like challenges, mysteries, and problem solving missions. As part of an American University research project, School of Education professors have partnered with Janney Elementary School to test enduring understanding in reading as well as in mathematics in third grade students. During the sessions, third grade students will participate alongside our friends Poly and Gon in enriching activities and games in which they will be challenged to think outside the box by practicing problem solving and pattern identification skills. All lessons, activities, and games will be created and directed by American University student teachers for Janney third graders. Are you prepared if you get lost in the wilderness or the desert? Are you prepared in case there is a major earthquake, storm or even a zombie Apocalypse? Then get prepared. Learn the survival skills you and everyone around you should know. Following survivalists Rules of Three we teach shelter building, water collection, first aid, fire skills, and signaling for help. Well also explore what you need for a survival kit. Role playing and games keep the lessons positive and fun. Emergency Vet - Advanced - Highland Park Presbyterian Church
This camp covers a broad range of topics including an extensive survey of animal anatomy featuring a comprehensive rat dissection, which includes neutering and suturing. Campers will spend a considerable time using the microscope as they study a variety of bacteria and parasite that prey on our favorite pets. This camp is for 10 year olds and older. Campers must have already taken our Camp Emergency Vet first. Sample Topics: Rat neutering, Suturing, using a hypodermic needle, Bacteria and Parasites, Broken Bones, Dissection, Blood Smears and the Microscope. 214-530-5979

Session II Girls Basketball - Cornerstone University
Grades 7-11 (Overnight/Commuter Camp) Commuter campers follow the same daily schedule as the overnight campers. They are free to leave after league play (9:00PM) Check-in will be Monday morning from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM in the Bernice Hansen Athletic Center. Please look for postings to help make this time easier and more convenient for all. Parents, we will register your child as quickly as possible so that you are able to get to work on time. Each day we will have fundamental and team practice in the morning. Free time will be from 2:30 to 4:45. Campers may go back to their dorm to relax, play pool, ping-pong or stay in the gym and watch the camp counselors play basketball. Dinner is from 4:45 to 5:30 with league play from 6:00 to 9:00. If you are a commuting camper attending an overnight camp week, the cost of your dinner meal is not included in the camp tuition you paid. Therefore, you may purchase a dinner meal plan for the week at the time of registration. If you prefer, you may also pack a dinner meal for each day or be picked up by your parents to go home/out for... 616-254-1671
