All camps will be taught with the new USTA 10 and under teaching style. Players will be grouped by ability and will learn all aspects of the game. Technical strokes, keeping score, rallying and competing. Players will have the ability to play in USTA play days held monthly. Family Worship Center Kid's Camp 2016 - Zionsville, PA
Kids who are currently in grades 1-6 are invited to Kid's Camp 2016! We hold camp at Milford Park in Zionsville. The cost for the overnight camp is only $175!! Registrations are due by May 29th (complete the 2-sided registration form, a copy of your child's insurance card and $75 non-refundable registration fee). The intention of kid’s Yoga Camp is to teach children about the different places, people, animals, that live around the world. Going into a Journey with Yoga and learning it meaning “Union”, bringing this concept through physical activities games, arts and crafts, storytelling, puppets and more. Children will explore this Journey in a cooperative relationship, learning about friendship, happiness, kindness, honesty, passion, self-esteem and gratitude. Kayak Fishing Camp - Week 5 - The Greenwell Foundation
Kayak Fishing Camp is for children ages 8 – 12 (by first day of camp session). This camp combines two of the favorite activities at camp – kayaking and fishing! The week begins with a lesson on the water learning kayaking skills with a certified instructor. The campers will then have two opportunities during the week to be on the water, combining these two skills – and hopefully catch some fish! With help from a member of the Maryland Saltwater Sport fishing Association (MSSA), campers will have on-land instruction learning how to tie lures, cast a line and what fish can be found in the Chesapeake Bay watershed. Friday, the campers get to choose if they want to fish or go crabbing from the boat launch or fish from a kayak. In addition to all the fishing and kayaking, campers will also have the opportunity to do archery, field games, crafts and get wet with water games. Each afternoon, campers are provided an afternoon snack and each week a chance to make Smores. The week ends with Tye-Dye Friday for a take-home memory of the week at camp. The Details! Using the Robotics Invention System by LEGO and a computer, youll partner up with a peer to program everything from a light-sensitive intruder alarm to a robot rover that can follow a trail. Take two parts hip hop, one part modern dance, one part Martial arts, and one part ballet… mix it all in a blender and shake it up in the summer heat… throw it on a stage and make a STUNNING dance piece incorporating all these different genres of dance.
