Camp Cottontail is an outdoor program offered as your childs introduction to the day camp experience. Our qualified staff provides children with a great learning experience and a fantastically fun time! High School & Junior College Skills & Drills Camp - Roadrunner Baseball Field
Check In & Late Registration: 8:00-9:00 AM at Roadrunner Field. Camp Hours will be from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM. We will provide lunch around 12:30 PM. Purpose: Provide a camp experience much like a UTSA Baseball practice day. From the stretching routine, to a training session with baseball specific training techniques, to lessons on play catch routine, long toss, infield / outfield play, pitching / catching drill work, bunting and baserunning lectures and drills. We will deliver as much information and drill work in a 1 day session as time will allow. Cost will include: T-Shirt, Lunch and Camp Tuition. First Stage Theatre Academy - Omaha Community Playhouse
First Stage Theatre Academy is a two-week intensive that immerses students in the art of Theatre. Since 1997, over 900 students have participated in the First Stage Academy. For two weeks during the summer, students work intensively with professional directors, musicians, and choreographers. Mornings begin with a daily group warm-up, followed by classes in voice, movement and dance, acting, improvisation, scene study and playwriting. Fishing - Big Fish - McLean Community Center
Fish and Explore will transport campers daily to lakes, rivers and other local waterways. Everyone will catch fish. Campers will be taught the basics of fishing from casting and rigging, to knot tying, to selecting tackle and lures and identifying fish. Advanced lessons on watercraft identification, reading the water, targeting specific species of fish and river navigation are also available. Students will fish different types of water: public and private lakes, reservoirs, ponds, rivers, streams, and creeks over the course of the week. All skill levels of anglers are welcome. B.O.A.T.C.A.M.P. aboard the Capt. George - Plum Island Point
Our week long programs aboard the Capt. George seek to inspire nature connection through a maritime lens. Well explore the coastal ecology of Ipswich Bay and the Gulf of Maine each day, and carefully plan our days according to observed weather, tide and sea conditions. Above all else, we focus on keeping kids safe, warm (or cool!), and happy. We always depart the dock with a plan, and always change the plan as the day unfolds, as Mother Ocean and Mother Nature always leads. When she offers up something unexpected--a pod of dolphins frolicking across our path, feeding gannets, hungry bluefish and mackerel--we are very willing to change plans to make for the best experience possible.
