Mugglebees Musical Theater Camp - Belmont Parks and Recreation
Peter Pan Mugglebee Theatre is excited to announce our Summer season of performance opportunities. For the first time we will offer three camps and two different productions. Our two-week musical theatre camps, led by husband and wife team, David and Erin Mugglebee, offer hands-on-experience for all performance levels with the artistic aspects of creating a musical production, from performing Broadway songs and choreography to building sets and designing costumes and props. With an emphasis on creativity, students will be inspired to express themselves in a fun and dynamic atmosphere Each two-week camp session includes rehearsals, production design, drama games, and a final production for friends and family. Tech Explorers: Robotics and iPad® Stop-Motion Movies - Bethel Christian Center
Students explore robotics using LEGO® components and then use iPad®s and special effects apps to make a stop-motion movie. In the morning, campers build machines with LEGO® elements and then program and use them to uncover clues to solve a mystery. Theyll use motors to power projects and sensors to detect movement and trigger actions. Programming is easy with LEGO® WeDo® software - students drag and drop blocks on the screen to create the instructions to run their machines. Each student has their own kit and computer to use. Projects include building an airplane controlled through a keyboard, building a sensor-activated sliding door, making an amusement park ride controlled with a tilt sensor, and more. In the afternoon, students work in teams to create a stop-motion movie starring LEGO® minifigures and sets that they create using LEGO® components. Students record the movie frame-by-frame on an iPads®, add exciting titles, visual and sound effects, and background music in the Pinnacle Studio editing app! Teams choose the story and characters - it can be a comedy, or an adventure starring Scooby-Do®, a favorite superhero, animals, or Minecraft® characters. 206-466-6882

Lindero Country Club - Lindero Country Club
Lindero Kids Summer Sports Camp offers the ultimate summer experience filled with fun and excitement in a safe environment. Our Camp Counselors are experienced and selected based on education, knowledge of the sports offered at our camp, and their experiences working with children. They are trained in safety procedures and first aid. Staff members are supervised by camp directors and club management. After Lunch Afternoon activities are offered after lunch. After a full morning of golf or tennis, your childs afternoon is structured into two afternoon activity sessions. During this time they may choose from a wide variety of activities including organized games of golf or tennis, swimming, soccer, basketball, hikes, arts and crafts, fishing and much more! Counselors Camp staff is selected based on education, knowledge of sports offered at our camp and their prior experience working with children. Our counselors are trained on safety procedures and first aid. Staff members are supervised by camp directors and Club management.
