Basketball Day Camp for youth (boys and girls) ages 7 - 15. Hosted by Idaho Slam Jam, featuring four professional basketball players, Tammy Brawner, Chris Staples, Zig Zag, and Werm. There will be two sessions at $25 per session. Session fees cover the camp, a camp t-shirt, and one ticket for the family BBQ between sessions. Morning session starts at 10am, and the afternoon starts at 1pm. BBQ is at noon. Additional BBQ tickets can be purchased online for $5 each.

Come to Gardner Camp for hands-on learning about wildlife and animals of all kinds. Nationally renowned World Bird Sanctuary will be at GC to present a live animal program where you will experience an up-close view of animals from all kingdoms. After learning about the different types of animals and the signs that animals leave behind, participants will test their investigation skills solving a mystery and go on a tracking adventure, weather permitting. Participants will also walk away with their very own handmade wildlife tracks t-shirt. Within this program, there is also a giveback opportunity to help World Bird Sanctuary. Adventure Camp #1 (Backpacking @ Sipsey Wilderness (JH) (Males)) - Camp Lake Stephens
A more challenging 6 day/five night camp experience. Campers will travel to the Sipsey Wilderness in Northern Alabama to do hiking, camping, and experience beautiful scenery. The hiking will be a 3 day/ 2 night trip. The rest of the week campers will stay in our Tree House Camp overlooking the lake. 662-234-3350

Pre-register for a 3pm audition time for Peninsula Youth Theatres CENTERSTAGE production of "SEUSSICAL." Registration guarantees you a spot in the 3pm audition group. You must be age 8-18 or have prior executive director approval. Children must be 8 by 3/17/16 to participate. PLEASE NOTE: TO KEEP YOUR SPOT you must arrive by 2:30pm with your paperwork completed for check in and measurements. If you have not arrived by 2:45pm your spot will be given to someone on the waiting list and you will be moved to the next available audition slot. Students will strengthen their academic writing skills through reading, interpreting, and writing contemporary poems. This is an opportunity for students to focus on the specific details of a texts word choice, structure, imagery, and symbolism, both as readers and as creative writers.
