The High School Harp Solo and Ensemble Workshop is open to entering grades 9, 10, 11 or 12. The program is an exciting week of solo and ensemble experiences exploring classical traditions and improvisational styles. Olympics (3rd-6th) - Mulberry School
You dont have to be an athlete to join in this camp taught by Mulberrys Miles Lewis. Activities will be centered around fun and cooperative team sports as well as individual activities. In the spirit of the Olympics, well have plenty of team-building and sportsmanship opportunities. Activities will be driven by the campers. On any given day, campers may play soccer, frisbee golf, basketball, do gymnastics, martial arts, or participate in track and field events. Well start the week with Opening Ceremonies as the campers run through the campus and pass the torch to each "country," and well close with a Flag Ceremony. Throughout the week, campers will decide on the medals to be given and help to create them with all of the USA themed crafts well have available. Campers will also create flags (maybe they will choose a favorite country or create their own) for the closing ceremony. This camps focus is not on competition so much as an opportunity for children to try a new sport and have fun sharing their spirit and love of the games. 4083589080.0

Golf and So Much More - Half Day - South Germantown Driving Range
For kids who want to try golf but dont want to spend all day at it, this great combo camp will keep them happy and active all day! With the help of a Montgomery County Golf Academy instructor, all campers will practice putting, chipping, driving, and using irons and woods at the Driving Range (M-Th, 9am-Noon). On Friday, everyone will play 9 holes of golf at a nearby course, then full-day campers will head back for a final fun group activity. Afternoons for full-day campers will be filled with so much more: tennis, basketball, kick ball, mini-golf and water fun at SG Splash Playground. Dont want so much more? Sign up for half-day camp and concentrate on golf! Fee covers instruction, tees, Nike Golf® balls, and transportation Friday. Ever wish your kids would do more with the computer than sit and play video games? Specially designed software is used so campers can easily create multimedia computer games and animations.Developing a script or program is done by simply snapping together graphical program blocks much like LEGO bricks or puzzle pieces. Participants will learn how to create computer games with custom background settings, characters, animated movements, sound effects and more. If you are new to our Computer Game Design course, you will get started quickly and if you have previously attended a course, a new game will be introduced so you will get to learn new techniques.Students will receive a USB drive with the software and games they made to take home at the conclusion of camp.
