2016 Michigan Girls Golf Camp - Universtiy of Michigan Golf Course
Campers will work with the same instructor for the entire camp which allows the student to have consistent communication with their designated coach. -V1 Golf Swing Analysis – Each camper will receive a personalized swing video at the end of the camp which reviews the specific instruction they received from their coach. -Seminars including: NCAA Rules/Collegiate Golf, Nutrition, Golf Psychology, Rules of Golf. -On-Course experience where the camper will receive instruction from management skills, green reading, pre-shot routine, and mental toughness. -Instruction that focuses on the long term development in all facets of the game. -Exposure to the University of Michigan golf teams (collegiate players), the beautiful UM campus, and the coaching staff. -Campers will interact with some members of the U of M Womens Golf Team who will be present to provide instruction and insight into the daily lives of a college athlete. 734-615-2934

Jr. Choir - Valle Verde Elementary
Classroom: E-2 Instructor: Rick Abbott (No class on March 31 or April 28. Final performance May 12th) This enrichment class is taught by Mr. Abbott. Jr. Choir is a performing choir for 2nd and 3rd graders. We are performing the choral concert STAR MAKER – the TV Show. The songs are delightful! Ive done this concert many times because the kids love the music. The students will perform in two concerts: a daytime assembly and a formal night concert in the MUR. For 3rd graders, there are opportunities, by audition, for solos, small group numbers, and narrator parts. Proper solo vocal technique, as well as ensemble vocal technique are taught. Make new friends; develop confidence while performing onstage for an audience. The songs are upbeat and lots of fun! Students will learn the art of putting imagery in motion as they explore a variety of techniques, including traditional stop-animation, claymation, hand-drawn animation, digital film and computer graphics like titling and film effects.
