Volleyball Camp: Middle School - Piedmont Middle School
This middle school volleyball camp focuses on individual player development and teamwork. attention is given to technique, skill and confidence so each camper improves as a volleyball player and develops a love for the game. All skill levels welcome! Sarah brings an extensive background in indoor and beach volleyball. As a junior in college she played for the Cals Indoor Volleyball team as an outside hitter and defensive specialist. Entering her senior year at UC Berkeley, Cole plans to finish her degree in integrative biology and continue her volleyball career as a current member of the Cals Womens Beach Volleyball Team. She is a AAA rated sand volleyball player and has coached for Presentation High School, City Beach Volleyball Club, Cal Summer Camps, and Piedmont Middle School. Participants should wear appropriate clothing, gym shoes, and knee pads; please bring a snack and water. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This camp is intended for students entering 6th - 8th grades. Immerse yourself in the world of LEGO® Friends as you engineer your way through challenging themes using LEGO® Bricks and Technic® elements! Art Adventures for Kids: Session VI - Farmhouse
This one week half day program is full of colorful summer fun! Kids will create art projects each day with a summer theme. Through projects that include body motion, story-time, and music, campers will create unique pieces of art that connect to science, history, and math. They will work with paper mache, clay, paint and other fun materials. They will also learn fun summer songs and play improv acting games. Students should bring a snack and water bottle and dress in comfortable clothes that they dont mind getting dirty! Week will end with a special showcase/art show for family and friends. Treasure Hunting with Stamps! Letterboxing! - The Evergreen School
A week of stamp making, hiking and treasure hunting. Students will create their own stamps, follow directions, and find hidden letterboxes. They will stamp in and collect stamps from each of our daily hikes. We will even make our own letterboxes, write up the clues and hide them for others to find. Students will be hiking approximately 1-3 miles daily with plenty of time for breaks, lunch, play, and treasure hunting. Children must bring a lunch, a full water bottle, and should wear sturdy sneakers or hiking boots. The class will be outdoors all day walking fairly easy trails. Letterboxing is a great prologue to geocaching. 206-957-1533

Animals have amazing adaptations to help them survive and thrive. Investigate these features through examining the shapes and power of fish, shark, and dolphin fins, the flying abilities of birds, the diverse abilities of animal legs and paws, and the power of claws.
