Braintree After School Enrichment - Braintree After School Enrichment
B.A.S.E. [/] is a well-established child care program located in Braintree, MA. Since opening in 1985, we have become the largest after school program in Braintree and have developed a strong foundation within the community. We currently provide children in preschool through grade 7, with the opportunity to play and learn in a safe and caring environment. B.A.S.E. is a licensed nonprofit center not affiliated with the Braintree Public Schools. Villa-Parke Camp Group A 6th week Jul 18 - Jul 22 - City of Pasadena
This activity may not be registered for individually because it is part of a package.S.T.E.A.M. into fun with this innovative and dynamic summer camp. Villa-Parke Enrichment Camp creates an exciting learning environment that explores the five core concepts of the S.T.E.A.M. curriculum: science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics. Each weeks activities are based on a theme. For example, during Space Exploration Week, campers may take a field trip to the Griffith Observatory, base their art projects around the solar system, do astronaut training activities for fitness and learn space themed vocabulary in Spanish. Campers do wacky science experiments, explore technology and mathematics through Lego(R) robotics in the computer lab, complete engineering challenges and attend language lessons including American Sign Language and Spanish. The camp also incorporates traditional camp arts and crafts activities like painting, drawing and beadwork, as well as ceramics instruction and the use of pottery wheels. Daily activities include at least 90 minutes of high-energy physical fitness. Specialized sports instruction is offered for both tennis and golf. Growing Scientists: Animal Adventures - CuriOdyssey
Growing Scientists: Animal Adventures Why are some animals furry and others feathered? How does a snail move? What does an owl eat? Have an up close and personal encounter with some of the animals at CuriOdyssey and learn about their amazing adaptations such as how they eat, where they sleep, and where to find them in nature. Go on an adventure to find tiny creatures living around Coyote Point Recreation Area. The world of animals will be revealed in this wild and wooly, slippery and scaly camp! Growing Scientists must be at least 3 years old by June 1, 2016, potty trained and able to use the bathroom independently. Minecraft: Coding and Programming (46442P) - Cary Academy
The next level of Minecraft® camps will have you creating and programming Minecraft® robots to do the mining for you. Learn how to code using Minecraft® ComputerCraft Mod and put those robots to work. Begin programming with a graphical interface and then evolve to text-based coding as you learn to program with Lua. Games and Science Camp - Camp Talahi
GAS Camp is for all of the kids who just cant get enough of games, sports and science. We will be playing games such as ultimate Frisbee, Handball, Splashball (similar to water polo), along with old favorites like soccer, basketball and volleyball. When our bodies need a rest we will use our minds to create simple machines and science experiments! Designed for campers who have completed grades 5-8. GAS Camp will run concurrently with MADD Camp.
