Camp Sewataro, established in 1960, began with 25 campers. Today it has grown to over 600 campers, one of which is my teenage daughter. As an only child, she has blossomed at this camp. February 19-20 (Times to be announced) In addition to having an awesome time getting to hang out with the youth group, we will be getting to hang out with youth ministry families as well. We will have food, games, and times of Bible study. Our Bible study will be centered on the roles of students, parents, and youth pastor in the development of students as disciples of Jesus. If you are a non-camper, you are still welcome to come hang out and fellowship. Day visiters will be subject to regular park admission fees: $3 per vehicle for 1-2 people and $5 per vehicle for 3-8 people. Further details coming...
Teen Driving Boot Camp in East Rutherford - East Rutherford, NJ
Students in the area will get to have their first (hopefully) Oh My God moment while driving their own vehicle. The only driving education offered to teens is Driver’s Ed in high school (sitting behind a desk) and then 6 hours behind the wheel to get their permit. What is "Work A Thon"? It's a great opportunity for young people and youth groups to get together, have fun, help the camp, and earn free weeks to use or share with friends. "What do I need to do?" Ask your parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, brother, cousins, friends, the barista at the coffee shop, the cable repair guy, EVERYBODY to sponsor you by paying for your days labor. TBA camps are designed for all climbing levels. Kids will learn a variety of climbing skills such as body awareness, technique, and problem reading through fun games and activities. Campers will also be able to participate in playful yoga classes, game time, and have personal climbing instruction from the teachers.
