The Monterey Junior Lifeguard Program is a 4-week educational and recreational summer program for children between the ages of 9 and 16. The kids are exposed to a carefully planned schedule of lectures and field trips, balanced with physical conditioning and ocean recreation activities. This unique aquatic class is taught by professional Ocean Lifeguards and several guest lecturers. There are 2 four-week sessions each summer at Monterey State Beach. I sent my 15 year old daughter to the 3 week session and she LOVED it. Which is amazing because my daughter is like many teenagers and is too cool for everything. Kid's Yoga Summer Camp: Week 2 - Indianapolis, IN
More than ever before, kids face an abundance of pressures and stress. Mindfulness practices, such as yoga, meditation and breathwork, can give children the tools they need to navigate their life in a way that is true and authentic to them. During this special week of yoga camp, we will explore the many gifts that yoga has to give. Children will participate in activities that empower and center them, foster a strong sense of self, and connect them to the greater community. These ativities include, but are not limited to: Poses to empower, strengthen and bring balance Meditations and breathing practices to calm the body, mind and spirit Principles to guide healthy interactions w/ themselves and the world around them All exploration will take place in a playful, safe environment where each child can find their unique voice. Students will create a Yoga Journal throughout the week to serve as a memento from their week as well as a reference for home practice. Teen Cooking Camp: Session 5 - Rochester, MN
Your West Circle Drive Hy-Vee is offering a series of cooking classes designed to teach teens (age 12-17) essential cooking skills! Each class will feature a different theme. Teens will be able to eat their creations at the end of the class. August 11th: Create your own recipe! Classes will be taught in our DISH classroom by the in-store dietitian and one of our talented chefs. Fees: $25 per class, due on date of registration. Registration required at least 72 hours prior to scheduled class. To register, visit customer service in the store or call customer service at 507-292-6000. Turn digging in the dirt into a lifetime of love for gardening. Kid's will be getting their hands dirty creating a planting one FREE 10inch hanging basket to take home and enjoy all summer long. Learning to care for your plant with water, fertilizer, sun, shade, soil, wind, etc. Dress for the mess. FREE to children 12 and under, please be sure children are accompanied by an adult. Cool your feet, catch crayfish, skip stones, and explore our winding network of waterways. The fun is endless as we spend the week down by the creek. Be sure to wear shoes and clothing that you dont mind if they get wet and/or muddy. 513-891-4227

Coach Rob Czlonka and Coach Chase Wooten Camps are designed to provide training for youth players with aims at developing the techniques needed to be successful in the game of soccer. Each session will include the Following: Dribbling, Controlling surfaces, 1v1 exercises, passing and receiving, and some small group games. Players will receive a NSU Soccer T-shirt. Campers need to bring with them (1) indoor and outdoor athletic shoes, (2) a full water bottle/Jug (3) shin guards with socks over them. 918-444-3997
The Art of Geometry - The Derryfield School
Two disciplines that naturally go hand-in-hand will be explored jointly. Students will learn how to begin from Geometry to develop Art but also how Art equally informs comprehension and development of Geometry. The possibilities are infinite. (603) 721-1327

In addition to working with youth players, The Beautiful Game LLC, is involved with the professional game and has an expanded network of soccer contacts.
