PreBallet & Creative Movement PK-1 (Thursday) - Janney Elementary School
Ms Meshberger will be leading our youngest students dancing and leaping as they learn a range of pre-ballet and other dance and movement activities. Dance is a wonderful way for children to express themselves and learn to stretch and strengthen their bodies while, of course, having a lot of fun! Welding & Metal Sculpture - Coyote Central
Using MIG welders, metal saws, hot and cold bending systems, and grinders, youll begin to master the basics of welding and metal fabrication. The focus this week will be toward 3d sculptures: anything from abstract to fanciful; candle sticks to garden art; figurative pieces of animals, minerals, vegetables; or anything beyond. Youll be using welding skills to develop fine-art aesthetics because youll be working with a teacher who is a metal sculptor. Instructor: James Brandalise 2063237276.0

Little Aquanauts (Week 8 AM) - Maritime Mysteries - NESS
Venture on and around the water using maps and clues to solve these maritime mysteries. Use compasses, kayaks, microscopes, historical stories, and animal evidence to decipher the hints to reveal and find your destinations. Go geocaching, utilize compasses, and use magnifying glasses and microscopes to help reveal some of the millions of planktonic animals and algae living all around us. 860-535-9362

Broadway Musical Performance Theater - Location: Center for The Creative Arts
Do you like to sing, dance, and perform? Have a fun filled time learning show music, choreography, and acting from a musical comedy script and then performing a musical theater production. Theater skills in vocalization, stage direction, choreography, creating the scene, characterizations, song interpretation, improvisation, costuming and stage make-up will be coveredSome shows under consideration are Annie, Grease, Mary Poppins, Wicked, The Wiz, Chorus Line, Les Miz, Sound of Music , Beauty and the Beast and other popular Broadway Hits.
