Intermediates Ages 10+ Grasshoppers players are technically sound and tactically engage. Players are beginning to determine their style of play and how it matches up with other styles. This class will incorporate both singles and doubles strategy and play. sportsmanship, mental toughness, and Fitness. Point play, and fun games are taught on a 78 court using a 25-27" racquet. While focusing on composition and design, students will explore how to communicate an idea through an illustration. Students will work with stories written by other students as part of the Grannie Annie project. A class which combines technology and music. Students will explore music creation with PC computer technology. Lessons include learning audio looping, generating digital sounds from scratch, voice recording, mixing tracks together, and much more. Students will be able to experiment with programs such as Magix Music Maker and Sony Acid Music Studio (both similar to Apples Garage Band). The class week ends where each child has created their own CD, or individual mp3s, to bring home and share with friends and family. 206-957-1533
