In this camp, students will learn about 3D game design and adventure maps in Minecraft. You will learn to use MCEdit and SPC to make adventure maps & other Minecraft maps. You will add many traps to your maps and receive some great rewards at the end. At the end of this camp, you will be able to take your creations home and share them with your friends. The weather outside is frightful but the days are getting longer. Time to start thinking about Summer Camp. Join us for summer camps filled with fun filled days of horsemanship, games, crafts, and new friends. Campers will learn how to safely walk a horse, groom, tack, and wash a horse, horse anatomy, basic vet care, basic hoof care, riding fundamentals, horsemanship, and equitation. See the calendar of dates below. First come, first served. Deposit is required to hold your spot. Please call, email, or text for more information or registration form. Then once camp is over, we will have a special Gallery Showing of all the artists pieces at the June Trolley Hop. An environment encouraging use of the imagination, learning to take care of our Earth and discovering everyone is an artist! This will be at our new facility at 2216 Frankfort Avenue.

Well be using realistic and engaging case material prepared by the Classroom Law Project to prepare for and stage a trial during the first four days of camp. Well build programs, games, and animations using Scratch: the drag-and-drop, color-coded, event driven programming block editor, and create some epic 3D structures using the latest computer-aided design software (CAD). Young makers will learn the fundamentals of programming with this fun introduction from the MIT Media Lab including if/then statements, loop structures, data variables, mathematical and Boolean operators. These skills will be applied to create games as we explore design concepts such as objective, aesthetic, and difficulty curves.
