We love our Arrowhead campers! These 2nd graders show that they are ready for all the fun activities Marinwood has to offer. Arrowhead campers can be seen exploring our local Forest, playing epic games of Capture the Flag on our field and have even known to travel over to Miller Creek to play in the giant gymnasium. When not exploring, Arrowheads like to play at our playground, take a dip in the pool or spend some chill time doing arts and crafts indoors. I used to go to this camp as a kid and now that I have my own daughter, I sent here to this camp as well. My sister, whom also attending this camp as a kid, pulled her kids out of this camp last year, stating that there was a lot of bullying and picking on kids and no accountability for this type of behavior. Each week campers will participate in a variety of activities including fishing, hiking, pontoon boat ride, building forts in the woods, group games, and activities and programs related to the theme. All campers will take part in archery. Campers 8 years and older will go canoeing. Campers 11 years and older may go kayaking. USF July Full Day-Outdoor Soccer Training Camp + Goalkeeper Training - USF Corbett Soccer Stadium
Our full day outdoor training program is from 9am-4pm daily, Monday-Thursday, and on Friday from 9am-Noon. This program is designed to improve a players technical proficiency in all aspects of the game (dribbling, passing, receiving, chipping, and shooting). Camp includes all you can eat buffet style lunch in USFs air-conditioned dining hall on campus Monday-Thursday. Campers can choose to watch a movie or swim in the early afternoon before our last camp session of the day. Goalkeepers will also train together with one of our goalkeeper coaches a portion of the day. 813-315-6485
Ballet Camp - Cinderella - Germantown Friends School
Join the Cinderella Ballet Camp for a week filled with the joys of dance and music! Participants will read about and then recreate the magic of the Fairy Godmother, the pumpkin coach, and the glass slipper before journeying with Cinderella to the castle ball. Each day, Ballet Camp will begin with classical ballet instruction followed by activities such as ballet mime, performance games, and craft projects that will serve as props for the ballet. On the last day of camp, there will be a short recital, during which campers will perform a dance from Cinderella for parents and friends. Teaching our Cinderella Ballet Camp will be Fallon Gannon, who not only is a professional dancer with Ballet Fleming and Dance DelBello, but also is a very experienced dance instructor who has extensive experience teaching preschool and Kindergarten dancers in the Philadelphia area. Ballet Camp is a morning-only camp and participants may wish to stay for the all-new Junior Explorers/Explorers Day Camp or for the Computer Camp (for Kindergartners) during the afternoon session. We are focused on helping campers and their parents to become aware of a unique higher education institution called Florida College. Florida College centers its education around God and His Word, Alabama Camp centers its summer camp activities in the same way. We are not a church camp, but rather a group of Florida College alumni and friends who are eager to provide an environment of summer fun, while remembering who we are as Gods creation.
